Services Provided by the Emergency Department

  2. Trauma from Accidents: The Emergency Department is often the first point of care for accident victims, such as those injured in road accidents, falls, or workplace injuries.
  3. Cardiac Emergencies: Patients with chest pain or signs of a heart attack receive immediate attention.
  4. Stroke Care: Patients showing symptoms of a stroke—such as slurred speech or limb weakness—are treated urgently to minimize complications.
  5. Respiratory Distress: Conditions such as acute asthma attacks or severe respiratory infections are treated promptly.
  6. Shock: Immediate care is provided for patients experiencing shock due to blood loss, trauma, or severe infection.
  7. Pain Management and Initial Medical Treatment
  8. Administration of pain relievers or other medications to alleviate acute symptoms such as fever or pain from injuries.
